2010-2015 Toyota Prius Engine coolant drain and refill

This is a 2012 Toyota Prius. We perform a drain and a refill of the engine coolant. We did not use Techstream, so we had to put the vehicle in Maintenance mode so that the vehicle could idle without the hybrid system interfering. Be sure not to drive the vehicle into Maintenance mode, otherwise you may damage the vehicle. Once the vehicle's radiator fan is triggered, you must turn on the heater at a high level so that the coolant can circulate through the heater core. After that, you're done. You want to do this maintenance every 120k-150k miles.

Also note that some models do not have a coolant purge valve, like my 2012 Prius. I believe the model from last year has them, you can use it to purge the coolant extra but it is not necessary. Stop coolant on line B
