In this video, I show you how to replace the rear brake fluid on a 2008 Harley Davidson Road Glide. Changing the brake fluid is something that should be done at least once every 2 years, but always follow what your repair manual recommends. The brake fluid is hygroscopic, which means that it attracts and absorbs water. Water can contaminate brake system components and lower the temperature when the brake fluid boils, causing brake failure.
