Spare wheel and tools
In the event of a puncture, please follow all precautions and safety precautions in your user manual.
To access your jack and tools, lift the handle on the floor of the cargo compartment and open it. Remove the tool kit by unclipping the straps. You will find the secure socket in a holder. Turn the jack screw counterclockwise a few turns. This releases some tension on the plug so that you can remove it.
To release the spare tire, assemble the jacking tools first. Place the square end of the T-shaped rod in the end of the connecting rod. Then place the square end of the connecting rod into the square hole of this wheel nut wrench to form a handle.
With your tools at your fingertips, lift your hatchback and find this oval-shaped opening just above the middle of the rear bumper. Insert the T-shaped end of your cylinder rod into the opening until it reaches the emergency winch, directly above the spare wheel. Slide the T-shaped end of the cylinder rod into the T-shaped opening of the winch. Apply pressure and turn the cylinder rod counterclockwise. You will see the spare tire start to drop. When fully lowered, go under the vehicle and remove the retainer chain. Then, gently slide the tire under the vehicle.
Your user manual contains explicit instructions and diagrams to help you continue your journey safely. You will also find other instructions on the label attached to your jack body. Proceed with caution when lifting your vehicle, removing the flat tire and installing the spare wheel.
